Biggest Loser

So I'm very proud of my husband Fred. One our family's favorite TV shows is The Biggest Loser. Fred has been so inspired by it that he has lost almost 100 pounds! I'm so proud of him.

Right before school started, I was feeling the need for a road trip. I called my friend Melanie and she had such a busy month in August, that we could only go for 24 hours. We decided to head to Tuacahn to watch Footloose. We took Kari and Melanie's sister Stephanie.

The trip was great, the show was amazing, but the best part of all -- THE FA COUSINS FROM THE BIGGEST LOSER WERE THERE!!! I LOVE those guys. I was almost more excited to see them than to see Footloose. Well Kari and Melanie talked me in to going up to them during half time (you can tell I'm a sports mom -- I guess it's really called intermission). Filipe was so nice. When I told him about Fred and his success and his being inspired by him -- he asked if the camera had a video. He wanted to make this video for Fred.

What is most amazing about his success -- he and Creighton were able to hike to the top of Table Rock! Keep it up Fred, I love you. Ann

Our other summer activity

Baseball, baseball and more baseball!!! At least we love it. Jake had an awesome season. He was in the newspaper several times. He is a good player and it is fun to watch him. I don't know what Fred is going to do when Jake is finished with baseball -- only one more season to go:( I thought I would post a few pics of him.

His legion team ended the season around

30-10. It was fun to watch them win so

many times. But -- as they say -- all things must come to an end -- or as the Bible says --to every thing there is a season --

I guess it is time to say goodbye to this

season and now we are on to football!

Life is amazing!

I know it has been a long time since I posted. I forgot how!! Melissa and Creighton gave me a brief lesson so I'm going to give it a try. The most exciting news since our last post is the birth of Anna Michelle Lewis on 7/22/09. She weighed in at 8lbs 4 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. She is darling. This first picture is of Melissa about 4 hours before giving birth. She is amazing. See that smile on Creighton's face? It is still there!

Fred was trying out his new D90 camera while we were in the waiting room -- so here are a few of those pics. (This is my attempt at anticipation before the baby pics)
